It's my Off day..... A very simple and relax day.... went KBOX today..... La La La La......

Supposingly work PM (4pm) tomorrow (Saturday) but my supervisor rang me up asked me if I could work AM (6am) instead..... Hmmm..... although quite reluctant... after OFF day gonna wake up so early!! But I decided to help him since there is someone on MC...

So after KBOX.... I went for a quick dinner with my friend.... and proceeded home..... Slept at 1 am... not very early afterall even though I did made an effort to go home earlier.... Hahahaha.... Well that's ME... Life of An Owl.... Hopefully I can get up on time!!!

Working in T1 until 2am...

Today works Termninal 1 afternoon shift....

Right now still in clinic.... It's 1.30am already..... Waiting for 2am.... then can go home liao... Luckily I brought along my notebook... can login to internet... and listen to nice songs....

My sis came Airport to find me today... we ate Wang Jiao noodle in the clinic together... she really enjoyed herself.... catch up with all her ex-colleagues..... even went Giordano to buy Crew Neck T-shirts... $4 each... Cheap Cheap man... Haha... She stayed until 12am.... and mum fetched her home...

Waiting for 2am.......

Sigh.... At 1.50am.... There was a patient want to see a doctor.... for FEVER and SORE THROAT.... I explained the charges will be S$200 Consultation excluding medication after 12mn as the doctor had left and we need to get doctor from main hospital.... and checked if there would like to go to Watson pharmacy to get some medication instead.... However they still wanted to see a doctor.... So I have to activate my doctor from Raffles Hospital A&E.... Sometime don't know why people willing to pay this amount for FEVER and SORE THROAT....

I handed the case to my night nurse at 2am and left the clinic at 2.10am....

Reached home around 2.45am.... bathed and read for a little while before I went to bed at 4am....

It's my off day...... wondering how am I going to spend it... and who do I going to spend it with... kekeke....

Met up with Ex-SGH A&E Temp clerks friends for KTV at Tea Lovers.... It has been a long time since last met up with them.... There were 8 of us including myself and my sis...

Enjoyed myself at the KTV though as usual I don't sing much... Hahaha...
After KTV... I went dinner at Outram then to 'Tang Shui' for tea with someone...

Another off day just passed.... Next off day is next Friday... Recently my Clinic had resumed back to 6 days week... so I left with 1 off day per week.... So sad...

Next week I'll be a Transit nurse... whole week going to work in Transit Clinics... both Terminal 1 and 2....

The terrible thing working in T1 Transit Clinic is that I got to wake up at 5am and reach Clinic by 6am! Gosh! To sleep late is never a problem to me... but it will be a torture for an owl like me to wake up early!!

T1 Working hours:
AM: 0600-1600hr
PM: 1600-0200hr

I just have to force myself to sleep earlier on those days I work T1 morning... keke...
But please don't give me PM T1 and AM T1 the following day... It will kill me!

Wish me good luck.... Hope I can learn as fast as possible the T1 work flow...

Saw my face flashed twice in the Channel 8 and U News this evening... So funny... Some of my friends can even recognise my eyes and rang me up.... Hahaha... when I was with FULL gear.... PPE.... Gown... N95 Mask... Glove...

Back from Taiwan for 3 weeks and Cambodia for 2 weeks....

Feeling much better after travelling around...

Think sometime in life... we just do not have a choice... but to face the reality...

I am moving on with my life.... and I really hope to go back to my usual self soon...

There are lots of memories... be it happy or sad.... but have to admit the fact that it was all past... and there will be no way for any U-turn....

Move on Shan.... Be Brave and Strong.... U can do it.... Stand up to your feet again when you fall...

I'm always reminding myself...... There is no one else who can help me... other than myself...

Friends can only give me advices... but I'm the only one know what is best for myself...

World Cup Final 2006

it was a memorable night... Watched World Cup 2006 Final in the Airport....

It has been a month since I last spent over night in the Transit...

The other time was exactly 1 month ago.... 9th June... That was the 1st day of the World Cup...

So I actually watched the World Cup Opening and Closing in the Airport...

My mum was so understanding enough... She drove my sis to the airport at 12mn to accompany me after I knocked off, to watch World Cup with me... Unbelievable right?? Moreover she got school the following morning... Hahahaha.... BEST MUM in the Universal!

So me and my sis hanged around in the Airport.. catching up with our Wang Jiao and Genki friends...

1 of my Genki good friend joined us to watch the Final match too... 3 of us walked over to Transit 1... to eat Mc Donald prior the match... and we watched the first half of the match at T1... then crossed over to T2 for the second half... Cool isn't it?? So exciting...

It was really a cool match... My sis and I was so excited.... Our Italy won the match! And I won 1 year free flow Genki sushi from my friend.... Wahahahaha~

The 1st meal was already received... Free delivery to my Transit clinic somemore! He is BEST man! *LoL* It was my favourite Yummie Salmon Sashimi and Sushi pack... =) Thanks pal

Raffles Medical Group Family Day.... My mummy, gor gor and mei mei all joined me for the Family Day event... It was a very simple Family Day... hope they enjoyed themselves though... =)

I won the Lucky Draw 16th price... kekeke... Shopping Vouchers.... though not a very fantastic prize but still thanks god.... thanks buddha... for the luck... The food was quite okay.... Buffet style plus BBQ... Yummie~

It has been a long long time since I last blog...

Partly is because I have not been doing very well lately... so quite reluctant to drop down any unhappiness moments here...

Always believe that as long as having a sincere heart to everyone... things should turn out well...

Looks like it proven me wrongly... I always try to BELIEVE... but after believe and being postive... Is that what I get in return? Really can't believe such thing can ever happened to me...

Ok... Some of the updates from me...

Just shared 1 good news: I finally collected my Graduate Diploma in Business Administration... Had my Graduation Ceremony on 26th May 2006... Here are some of the photos:

Went for my Annual Secondary School Class Gathering on the 3rd June... So happy to meet up with everyone... We had steamboat at Marina Bay... then to Boat Quay TCC... Some of them brought their kids along... Isn't that cool?

Though recently something major had happened in my life... I just have to face the reality... accept what had happened... and move on with my life... I believe I can do it.... It's just a matter of time... Hopefully the happy-go-lucky ShanShan will be back soon....

After knowing the horrible truth... I have learnt to be stronger... I won't allow myself to fall down so easily again...

Will be flying to Taiwan tomorrow.... Really need a breather away from the Airport, away from my work place and anything that reminds me of the past... Need time off to relax my mind... to plan my life ahead... I won't allow myself to waste any additional time from now on....

The Past was gone.... Future is still unknown... Most importantly is Present...

8 Ways To Handle An Argument

Let's face it, no one is perfect. No matter how hard you try, or how loving and respectful of a couple you are, you are bound to get into a disagreement once in a while. With a few tips though, it doesn't have to be something that can harm your relationship. The next time you feel an argument starting to form keep in mind these 8 ways to handle an argument!

1. Give your partner enough space to voice his or her concerns.I'm sure you hate it when people interrupt you; give your partner the same respect -- even if you don't agree with what they are saying.

2. Make an extra effort to really understand what you partner is trying to say.It is very easy to fall into the trap of thinking you know what they are saying, when in fact you may not have a clue. If your partner feels like you understand what they are saying, you'll find a way to end the argument far more quickly.

3. Don't say something you'll regret later.Always consider your relationship like a glass. It is sturdy, tough, beautiful and clear when taken care of, but if it is mistreated or mishandled it can end up scratched, cracked or even broken. Take care in choosing the words you say when you are in the heat of the moment.

4. Don't bring in past woes.The past is the past... let it stay there. If you dwell on past occurrences, you'll never find a solution for the future your partner will feel less loved and respected, and you will always feel negatively towards your partner. People make mistakes. Give your partner the chance to recover from them, and encourage and support them when they make the right choices.

5. Learn to compromise.If you can learn to compromise, you'll find yourself in fewer disagreements. If you don't like something, then agree with your partner to find some middle ground. This also applies the other way. Be willing to come up with alternative solutions for things your partner doesn't like as well!

6. Realize that no matter what you say, you both may not agree on the issue at hand.An argument is typically started because you want someone to agree with you about something. You think that the other person must not know all the facts, so you begin to explain it to them. The more your partner still disagrees with you, the more upset you usually get. But, if you realize that sometimes it is best to just let yourselves agree to disagree -- you'll show your partner that you not only respect their opinion, but respect their individuality as well. You never know, maybe later on they (or even you!) might change their mind.

7. Make a commitment to talk about the situation until it is handled.It's far too easy to run off and avoid your partner, or give them the silent treatment. Instead, make a commitment right now to each other to respect each other enough to work it out -- even if it takes all night. Nothing is unsolvable when you are working together to truly find a peaceful resolution.

8. Make your relationship with your partner your first concern when you are in the middle of a disagreement.This does not mean bend over backwards for them or compromise your integrity. Just keep in mind that the person you are arguing with is your best friend, lover and soul mate. If you both keep that at the forefront of your mind in an argument, it will keep what matters most away from cruel words or intent -- your heart!

Yesterday is Vesak Day... Went Shi Ma Lu Temple with my sis.... and we celebrated Mother's Day at Serangoon Country Club in the evening....

Went to watch 'Poisedon' after the dinner.... 1.55am show... kekeke... Abit crazy ah.... watched such early show.... Aiya once in a while..... quite fun actually.... A very exciting show.... Just like Titanic... Just that this show didn't focus too much on "Love"....

Today is my 2nd of day... 2 off days in a row... Siok hor =)

Been busy last week and this week... lots of activities... meeting up with different group of friends... Kekeke...

Last week just celebrated Chinglee's Birthday and I also went to watch 'Eight Below'... A Fantastic show... Super touching++++... Really worth watching!

For those who have not watch it... faster catch it before too late...!

Yesterday went BBQ at ECP... My ex filipino colleague's Farewell party... She had resigned from A&E too... It was an enjoyable evening... catching up with all my ex-colleagues... The food was great, Philipino's BBQ style... really unique... the food were really nice... good marination~!

Ways to Resolve "Pressure"

Nowadays, young people are often troubled by "pressure", which harms their behaviour and work. Although remorseful for such attitudes, they constantly repeat the same mistakes. Such fluctuations of the mind can affect their health over time.

The changes of emotions, shapeless and formless, are merely momentary feelings. Pressure is only a psychological effect; there is nothing physically "pressing" upon us. We must learn how to relax and work hard, but not be rigid and attached. We must have confidence and try our best, but not be an upright and attached perfectionist. The body can be active, but the heart must remain calm. Life is impermanent. We should live at ease and at peace, and not trip over trivial matters. In addition, we must utilize our healthy body and mind to do good.

How do we adjust our attitudes? Look more toward the positive side of others. It is tiresome to keep track of others' faults and weakness in mind and punish ourselves with others' mistakes.

Self-cultivation depends upon on ourselves. By nurturing a heart of gratefulness, we will be able to accommodate anything with all-encompassing love. We should treat ignorance with wisdom, anger with kindness. Living a simple life will unravel ourselves from worries and help us achieve serenity.

So long never blog.... My internet connection was actually activated.... however I am facing problems with my modem... so guessed I still have to wait....

Today work 7.30am-8pm, my 12.5 hours duty... Back to the older days.... I spent my meal break time in Airport Transit Lounge again... using the free internet here...

Was not in a good mood and usual self lately... Life is really unpredictable... and sometimes really beyond our control... Everything is fated and planned... No more in denial stage! I just have to face it and accept it... I really need lots of time to calm myself... to get things over... and to stand up on my feets again....

Returned from China

Came back from China on Tuesday morning 1am and returned to work in the afternoon... Tiring sia~

Was a fantastic trip... Really had an enjoyable time... visiting my CHUA's village at Fujian... and joining tour package to Beijing...

Quite sian... got to return to work the very day I returned to Singapore... no choice have to face the reality... Vacation over... time to focus on my work again...

Yesterday just celebrated my Birthday with XLB, with my family and my good friends... (not to mention my age, old already anyway)

Thank you all of you for giving me such a memorable day... Thanks all my dear friends who had smsed me Birthday greetings... I'm really surprised that you guys remembered my big day...

Charity Night

My 2nd aunt arrived Singapore on Thuraday to attend mum's Lions Club Charity Nighton 10th March (Friday).

Everything went on smoothly on the day.... Aunt really sings well... and Mum's Charity Night finally come to the end... Finally can see my mum resting.... after so many months' of preparation work...

I went for my hair cut at REDS and get my stylist to style my hair for the dinner... Hehe... My whole family + XLB + Connie went for the dinner with our formal outfit... We enjoyed ourselves... enjoyed my mum's speeches and the programmes she had organsied... enjoyed my aunt's singing... enjoyed our photos snapping... My XLB very smart wor... that night... *LoL*

I reached home at 4am... slept at 4.30am.... and rushed for my morning shift at 7am... My poor XLB lagi worse... He slept after 3.30am and woke up at 5am for work... In the end... both of us have to work with our dark rings on Saturday... Wahahahahaha

Yesterday my manager told us that there will be some VIP from MOH coming to our Clinic today....

Went to UOB to deposit Clinic's money this morning... and while walking out of the Bank I heard someone calling my name... I turned and was surprised to see my ex A&E Professor Anantha, Head of Department, Dr Lim Swee Han, A&E Manager, Mr Gopalan and our A&E secretary, Adeline... The VIPs were no one else.... but the 4 of them... *LoL*

The world is really small... I'm quite happy to have met them... like seeing my own family members... My A&E family....

My RMG Dr Andre Leong and my CC Daniel was giving them the orientation tour in the Transit Lounge... they were also surprised that the VIPs knew me... kekeke....

Worked 10am-10.30pm (12.5 hours shift) today... tomorrow another round of 10am-10.30pm shift... Hopefully won't be too tiring... Two (10am-10.30pm) shift in a row... =(

Looking forward for my Thur and Fri off... Looking forward to in meeting XLB again... He had been working very hard lately... think he deserved a break to meet me too... *LoL*

Worked morning shift today....

A simple Saturday... finally afforded some time out for gym today.... Had a good work out... and met up with my Choy Choy and XLB for dinner at Bugis.... We had Sting Ray, Sotong, Kang Kong, Fried Oyster Egg, Chicken Wings....etc..... Yummie~

Tomorrow working morning shift again... gonna wake up early! Arrgghhh!!!!

After work will be going to Yeahui's house... her '3rd baby' Full Term celebration....

*Goodness* my goodfriend, same age as me.... already a mother of 3!!!! Hahahaha...

It was my 2nd Off Day of the week yesterday.... After 4 days of long working hours... It was my Off day again...

I met up with my Primary School friends for a meal at Orchard.... and in the later part of the afternoon.... I went KTV at Party World with XLB... and we had our dinner at Yong He Duo Jiang... [Yummie~~] We went Mustafa after our dinner!! The only 24 hours shopping in town!! Shopped until almost 1am....

Working afternoon shift today.....

Assigned in Dispensary..... Quite enjoying working there.... Whenever I work there... I felt it was a fruitful day at work cause I got to learn many new things there.... getting to be more familiar with many more drugs... and seeing my speed of dispensing improving days by days... Last time in SGH we only handled those standard drugs... so in turn of dispensing skill... there is so much room for improvement...

Finally get to learn something that interests me in RMG... other than driving Buggy, running for Emergency cases in the Transit and in flight....

Working 7.30am to 8pm tomorrow... and after that got to rush for my Business class gathering... Another long day at work before I can relax myself for next 2 days... Off on Wed and Thur.... Looking forward for my 2 Off days in a row....

Happy Valentines' Day!

How did I spend my day? Haha....

I went to watch 'I NOT STUPID TOO' today with XLB... It's a very meaningful and touching show, really worth watching... Gave me alot of 'Qi Fa' in life...

Had dinner at Manhatten FishMarket at Plaza Singapura... Tried their Valentines' menu... Long queue everywhere today.... "Heng" XLB had made a reservation early...

After dinner, went jalan jalan at PS and to Sentosa, Palawan Beach in the later evening.... Surprisngly to find there is a new pub... very nice ambience, got lying chairs and table along the beach... very cosy feeling... 1st time lying in the beach drinking, looking at the stars, enjoying the sea breeze... Hmm... worth going again!

XLB reminded me today.... it's our Vegetarian day... as we both make it a point to eat Vegetarian at least every 1st and 15th of the month...

Woke up quite late today at 12 noon.... later working at 4.30pm till 12mn.... Yawnz....

Drug Allergy....

Had a very bad abdominal cramp since late morning... trying to endure the pain since morning as much as I could... horrible man~!

At 2.30pm.. I decided to take some pain killer... used to take Ponstan for such cramp but was allergied to it once... so my colleagues advised me to take Synflex instead...

1 hour later... I felt itchiness and swell over my right eyes... I realised I got a very bad peri-orbital oedema (eyes swelling)... Not again.... DRUG ALLERGY!!!! Welcome Synflex.... to my Drug Allergies family!!

I have no choice but to go home at 5pm early.... supposingly to finish work at 10.30pm... (worked since 10am)... Went in to my 'Lovelyland Memory Land' Transit to look for my 2 Dearest to bid them farewell prior my departure for home... (my beloved mummy fetched me home)

Slept right after I reached home.... from 6pm to 10.30pm... and woke up to have a shower and had a very late DinPer (Dinner+Supper)... the swell has not sudsided yet.... and had became BOTH eyes instead of just the right one....!!

Eyes still swell now.... hopefully the swell will be subsided by tomorrow morning... if not... I got to stay at home.... sob sob sob.... =~(

Crystal left us.... after 16 years+

Crystal... We will miss you forever...

Went Taiwan for Chinese New Year for 5 days.... actually quite worried about my Crystal... These few months... she had lost her vision and hearing... and I noticed she felt breathless quite frequent...

I returned from Taiwan on Tuesday night... glad to see my dear Crystal... that night I was unpacking my luggage... I noticed she was awake the whole night... At 2 am... I tried to pat her to sleep... but she just stood up at her cage there... staring at the same angle of the cage... refusing to sleep... At 3am when I went to take a look again... she was still standing up... I sensed something... and I told my mum...

The next morning I was woke up by my mum... she told me Crystal had left us....

According to my maid... she left us at around 7.30am... after my sis pat her goodbye and left for school...

I couldn't believe... but she really waited for us... Waited for our returned from Taiwan... She endured all the pains... and finally closed her eyes... after seeing all of us for the last time...

My dear Crystal... your departure proven a great lost for our family... we miss you... but we understand you have to go...

You had accomplished your mission.... and it's time for you to leave... to another world free from pain...

Praying for you... to leave the life of animals... I believe you will... with your well behaved characters all these years...

Went JB today with my whole family + Connie and XLB...

Granny was very excited and happy to see all of us...

We had lunch at Little HongKong 'Yam Cha' and went to 'Justco', a new shopping mall at JB... Known as the number 1 Biggest Shopping Mall in Asia....

Managed to buy 2 tops for Chinese New Year... keke...

We even had dinner before returned to Singapore...

A very relaxed and enjoyable day with all my love ones...

Tomorrow gonna work 12.5 hours shift again... kinda of sian... Sunday somemore... =(

Next few days gonna work long hours too as I'm going to Taiwan for Chinese New Year... so got to meet my working hours before going on leave... Sad Sad...

Went SGH HR today after my morning shift to sign some documents... and went dinner at Ding Tai Feng + watch 'A Chinese Tall Story' with XLB...

A very lame show... not very recommended actually... but no harm watching if you got no other shows to watch and got the $$... and of cause depends who do you watch with... kekekeke

Got slight fever and runny nose today... so I planned to sleep early in order to be well tomorrow for the New Year count down...

Sad Sad... working 12.5 hours shift tomorrow... finished work at 10.30pm... Will be going in Transit, 'Wang Jiao' to find my 2 dearest there... and count down with them... Welcome 2006 together~!

This year going to be a very Unique way of count down... In the Airport Transit!! Kekeke

In the evening... sent an Airport passenger who fell at travellator in the Transit (? fractured hip) to SGH A&E... so happy to go back there again... received a warm welcome by all the staffs.... Hahaha... sent them a new patient yet everyone received so happily... first time man!

SGH A&E is always a 2nd home of mine.....I'm so happy to see all my ex-colleagues again.... Quite sad when I had to go back to my Airport Clinic... can't bear to go.... =(

Tomorrow is my off day... Finally~~ KIV going JB with XLB... kekeke... Looking forward~!

Been rather busy lately.... so couldn't afford time to blog...

4th of Dec 2005.... A very Memorable and Meaningful day....

Work is fine for me... especially that I'm enjoying myself in the Airport... and with a great companion...

My maid, Dwi had left... after 5 and 1/2 years of bond with us... Now awaiting for new maid arrival... so kind of busy with household chores... kekeke... can't believe it, isn't it?

Went gym in the late morning and went Airport to fetch dad as well as having lunch there with my family.... We had Sakae Sushi.......

This evening dinner went in Transit.... cause need to pass something to my colleague at Transit 2 Clinic... so decided to go Wang Jiao to grab a bite... Elvin (The Xiao Lao Ban) treated me Milk Tea and French Loaf... kekeke.... So Pai Sei to get free drink and free food there.... Although I insisted to pay... the Wang Jiao staff refused to accept my money...

Tonight my Clinic not many patients... at around 10pm... I was too bored until I decided to walk out of the Clinic to breath... and see see look look at the passer by.... And to my surprise... I saw a very familiar face standing outside my Clinic... A guy was standing at the side sms-ing... Hahaha... It was CHINGWEI!! He came and find me.... after mugging at Terminal 2 Starbucks... Hahaha.... So shocking.....

As already planned, my mum will be fetching me home.... so we gave him a ride home.... and used the time to catch up in the car.....

Back home.... MSN again.... *LoL*

Met up with my Banquet gang to celebrate Shicong's Birthday....

Had BBQ steamboat dinner at Marina South..... the usual crowded and smoky place..... whole body so stinko after the dinner.... We guys went arcade... challenged each other Daytona.... and some played pool after dinner.....

Poor Thomas, he lost his $800 new camera at the arcade.... so unlucky day for him...

We left Marina South at 11.45pm after cake cutting... as there was no more train.... I sent the guys back...

I drove all over North, East, South, West of Singapore......... drove from South (Marina South) to Central (Kim Yam Road) to send Weida home 1st, then from her place to West (Jurong) to send Shicong... and to East (Paya Lebar) to send Huizhong and lastly to North (SengKang) to send Thomas....

Haha..... until my sister who went with me.... want to puke in the car.......

We spent 2 hours driving in the middle of the night..... very tired day.................

It was my Mum's, my maid, Dwi's and my good friend, Shicong's Birthday.....

31st October............ so many people's Birthdays............

We guys had a mini gathering at home... with my family(My mum, bro, sis and I), Connie (future sis-in-law), Constance (godsis) and God auntie....

Constance bought mum a cake.... without knowing that my bro, my sis and I had bought 2 cakes as well.... (1 for my mum.... 1 for Dwi...)

Mum cooked dinner for us.... We had a yummy dinner feast.....

She wasn't aware that other than Constance's cake... we still have got 2 cakes hiding in brother's room.... She got a shocked when she saw my bro and sis walking down with 2 candle lighted cakes.... Haha....

As usual.... we snapped many photos.... Glad that mum and Dwi were very happy......

Transit with Elvin

Went Transit with Elvin today... Transit is really a very nice and conducive environment... Though exams were over for me... but it's still great to stay there and read up some of my stuffs.... (Last time used to study overnight in there for my exams!)

It was as usual a quiet night... with no flights... no passengers.... air con was really cold...

I think because my exams were over... so it's kind of fun to stay in Transit than the usual Stress...

Perhaps quite distracting to Elvin... cause with me around... I talked alot... Hahahaha....

I left airport quite early.... cause quite sleepy... so went home to sleep.... but the poor boy.... stayed until noon time.... But anyway he managed to complete part of his work =)

Nice working in the airport..... A very different experience... ^_^

For those who don't know what am I talking about....
I'm working in Singpapore Changi Airport... with a staff pass... and I could go in and out of the Transit... (Still a nurse lah~~, not air stewardess ;P)

Went Johor this morning to visit my grandmum.... never been visiting her so long already as I was super busy with my studies.... She just came back from China for holiday...

Me, my mum and my sis went in and had Tin Sum lunch with her and we went shopping.... My Ah Ma had a great time with us.... though her legs are not very good.... she enjoyed the shopping... and of cause the yummy lunch treated by her beloved grand daughter.....

It was raining heavily in the afternoon.... all my Ah 'Ma's clothings hanging at her garden was wet... and poor thing... she have to do the laundry again tomorrow... We left Ah Ma's house at 6pm+ and went to take away Marybrown chickens for dinner...

There was a jam in the courseway... and we only reached home at 7.45pm... and had our dinner with my brother...

Actually planned to go Gym.... but mum wanted me to stay at home and rest... so I decided to rest for the day.... ^_^

Had lunch with my course mates, Charng Rang, Benny, Meng Chuan and Gladys at Bukit Timah Plaza to celebrate our Exams over.... I recommended them the famous chicken rice cafe... Uncle Charng Rang treated us..... Hee..... Hope all of us will continue to stay in contact after completion of our course....

I went to Turf City, Giant to collect my missing POSB card after our lunch.... So dumb 'ME'... last week I went Giant and forgotten to collect my POSB card after payment.... but the even weird thing was.... I had the receipt with me.... but not the card... think the cashier was also abit blur.... Anyway thanks god... I found it..... I called up everywhere and checked before I cancelled my card...

And after that I went to DBS and Citibank to settle few bill payments....

Whole day making payments.... whole month busy preparing for exams.... overlooked a few important bills...... Today 1 short..... settled all...... Hee...

I met Chinglee, my sister and her friend at Bugis Junction.... Sms-ed Xiulan to see if she was able to meet me and Lee for dinner.... And to my surprised.... she was in REDS, Bugis cutting hair... and I was there too....Wahahahaha....

Me and Lee went REDS to find her.... gave her a big surprise.... while she was having her hair cut..... me and Lee went for gym workout.....

We 3 finally had our dinner at Ajisen at 7.45pm.... Yummy Ramen for dinner...... Long time never met lanlan.... so happy to see her again.... especially right after my exams!! We gals chit chit cha cha alot.... And we even had coffee at Coffee Bean after dinner...

Both Lee and Lan are busy preparing for their exams.... but yet they still afforded time out to meet me after my exams.... Sooooooooooo touched.............

Our next meeting will be 4th Nov... after their exams..... Good Luck my 2 sisters...... I returned all the Lucksssss you gals had loan me previously......... Hope you gals will do well in your exams with flying colours....

Very occupied with my examinations..... so long never blog already....

2 papers were over.... left with 1 last final paper.... Strategic Information Management....

Monday's paper on Operations and Logistics Management..... not an easy paper...... but I managed to wrote 10 pages.... Isn't it cool? I couldn't believe it also. Wish that I could make it through...

As for today.... Strategic Management... the Toughest module among the 3!! This module was really killing me.... Testing on concepts and knowledge... required wide readings on newspaper articles.... I managed to write 10 pages too... don't know whether on the right track... Really really hope can pull through too...

Though I'm not a knowledgeable person... but I really did put in lots of effort for this semester (seen ghost last semester.... where got not afraid darkness)

Many of my dear friends sms-ed me... Wished me good luck... encouraged me... asked me not to be too stressed up... Some even told me if I had put in hard work... I will deserve to get good results... I don't ask for good gradings... I just hope to pass.... Hopefully my god (buddha) will know I have done my Best....

Looking at the mirror just now... saw 2 pimples on my face!! Something rare for me... This Business course is really killing me... this course is a major change for me... But I have learnt alot in the course... and because of a very different field of what I am doing now... I can easily get stressed up... It's really time for me to think about... should I continue to study other related courses... or should I stop here... I think I am tired... I need a break for the time being... This year is a major change of my life... I think it's time to take a break... Relax my mind... Started this course during my hospitalisation leave in early January... totally no break after my operation last December... and from there... had been very busy studying....studying... and still studying.... no social life for me this year.... except for a short Australia trip in May after my exams and Taiwan trip in August after I resigned.... I think time to have a break after my Friday's paper....

I miss all my friends.... I really do.... Have to start planning catching up with each and everyone....

Exams in 1 week's time.... StreSsful!!! There are so much to study, alot of analysing, concepts.... how to smoke through............................... ARRGHHH............

Today went out to meet my group members for Strategy Management Case study discussion.... at Holland Village NYDC.... Had Mocha Elephanchino.... Haha.... Yummie~~

And I went Takashimaya to shop for awhile after that.... kekekeke.... Exams coming still free to do such thing.... Bo bian.... cause Takashimaya having sales for Taka card holder.... managed to catch hold of few stuffs to buy.... Relax before exams??

Had a late dinner..... 10.30pm having rice and home cooked dishes... Goodness.... How to burn them??? But it's really nice to enjoy home cooked food once in a while... esp. for people like me... so busy... hardly have time to eat at home...

For the past 7 years.... this day was used to be a very Very Memorable and Meaningful day for me.... no longer for this year.... It was just another normal day... A Normal Childrens' Day for the kids...

I went gym in the afternoon... and went helped up with my mum's Lion's Club Charity Fair at Bugis Junction... Chinglee, Chingwei and Lai Hao all came to show their support... As well as my sister's friends, Hailing, Alison and Shufen... Thank you very much for coming folks!!

Another 2 friends of mine, Joseph and David... also went there... but due to wrong timing... I didn't get to meet them... Anyway thanks alot for dropping by... ^_^

I had dinner with Chinglee, Chingwei and Lai Hao at Bugis foodcourt... Nice catch up with Lai Hao... If not for the Charity Fair... I think I wouldn't get to see her so soon due to my tight schedule... My examinations are 2 weeks' away... After my exams... I will sure find time for all my dear friends and my ex colleagues... I will try to be more active in my Tzu Chi Volunteer service too... and will try to online more often and will blog, Ok!

Was whole day at home mugging..... but no matter how hard I tried to mug... still nothing much been absorbed... why ah? Sad sad.....

Went for class at 7pm.... and at 8.30pm... received sms from Chinglee.... she jio me and Glen for movie... so we decided to watch 'The Red Shoes''... together with my other friend, Joseph...

4 of us watched 11.25pm show.... we went Burger King first.... the guys ate their so called 'late dinner'...

The movie was 'So' 'So' only.... would rate it 5.5-6 over 10.... was introduced by Gary.... but I still preferred 'The Maid'... This show too much of very grossed scene plus extra sound effect...

Anyway I reached home at 2am... washed my car somemore in the middle of the night with my mum.... cause my car kena bird shit +++ while parking in an open carpark...

Think I'll be going to mug a little while before turning in...

Never go Chinese Garden in the end... coz 1 of my friend got some last minute OT.....

So I called off everything and decided to spend this special evening with my family at home.... For the past few years... I was always working night shift during Mid Autumn.... so long never spend this special occasion with them...

My mum invited her friend and her whole famiy to my house for dinner... after dinner we all went out to carry lanterns, took a stroll to Parry playground.... there were 7 of us.... 3 adults excluding myself.... kekekeke..... so funny to see the adults carrying lanterns.... There were many people in the playground... Very Re Nao~~

Back home.... My sis and I brought my mum fren's 2 kids to play sparkers..... they enjoyed....

Today is my Presentation Day.... Woke up to check through the Powerpoint slides with Glen online....

Finally we submitted our Disaster Recovery Plan for our Strategic Infomations' project to our lecturer, Allen...

I went to meet Chinglee at Bugis area to settle some urgent matters with her.... and from there we went SIM together to study in the library... I was preparing my presentation speech..... and she was reading her notes, preparing for her Sunday 10% common test....

I met Chingwei.... Chinglee's friend.... He joined us to SIM to study for his school stuff too.... this friend of Chinglee finds me very familiar.... but I don't find him familiar at all.... hahahaha.... perhaps I've got a common face..... sob sob....

I left the libary with Glen when he reached SIM.... We went to lecture room to prepare for our Presentation.... and left the two of them to study on their own....

Phew~~... our presentation well on pretty well.... 1st presentation passed~~~ Thanks to all my fellow group mates.... especially to Glen.... He had put in alot of hard work for this project....

Tomorrow another presentation to go.... Operations and Logistics on Creative.... Wish us good luck~~

I skipped the 2nd half of my class... nothing much for the 2nd half except for some other group presenting their project..... met up with Chinglee and Chingwei again in SIM.... and I drove the guys to Orchard.... dropped them there and I went for my GYM.... Gym until 11.30pm.... =)

Woke up at 11.30am today.... whole family at home.... beside dad who was in oversea....

Gor Gor was sick and MC for 1 day.... Choy Choy (my sis) was having exams and came home early.... Mum also at home.... so we had lunch together.... A very light lunch... Soup Udon... I asked Dwi to cook my Cheezy pork sausages which I bought at Takashimaya Food Fair the other day....

I managed to complete my Strategic Information Project Powerpoint before 5pm... I remembered I've got Citibank Visa bill to settle... so decided to go town to pay my bill... and at the same time went to Gym for a short work out... cause next 5 days of the week, I'll be very Very VERY busy!!!!! Definitely won't have any additional time for gym...

Today is the last lecture for Strategic Management.... next 3 weeks will be all be our Presentations for SM....

Hope to sleep early tonight.... was online... but hidding myself away from MSN.... going to do some reading before z.z.z.z.z.z......

Went gym today in the afternoon at Bugis..... nowadays was really busy... only managed to workout once per week ... last time used to be at least 3 times per week....

And we shop for Meng Chuan's Wedding gift...she is getting ROM on Sunday... We managed to get her a unique Wedding Certificate Holder and a photo frame....

Reached home around 9.30pm....Tired+++.... Didn't get to drive today.... Luckily my gor gor fetch me at Serangoon MRT Station... I have been carrying my heavy gym bag since early morning.... Everyone asked me what did I put in my bag... Well I have 2 shoes, 3 set of clothings.... toiletries... water bottle.... notes for reading... lunch box..... etc. etc.... hahaha

Finally fixed my Blog's problem.... Thanks to my dear Hao di (Junhao)... He really helped me alot... helped me with my Song lists...Archieves... Photo... and Counters.... Thanks Hao di!!! You are the BEST!! Now my Blog is almost perfect for viewing....!!

Sigh..... I slept late again.....and you know why........ not because I'm hardworking studying.... but MSN again!!!!

103 Bus Driver...

Tiring day...... was out of house since 7am..... and only got back home at 9pm....

Was really unlucky today..... was taking 103 home.... and there is this bus driver who was driving the bus in a very jerky way until I felt like puking..... so I walked forward and asked this driver.....if there was something wrong with the bus.... To my dismay... this bus driver... shouted to me.... ''The bus is very old.... so it was like this....''

Well.... I tried not to have any argument with the driver... so I sat back to my seat..... but this driver.... continued this conversation with the rest of the passengers in the bus... He spoken in Hokkien.... that no one ever said this to him before..... and said that if I couldn't tahan an old bus... I can go and take a cab....

10 mins later in the bus.... this driver was still talking away about me with the rest of the passengers.... I was getting more and more irritated..... and just 1 stop before my bus stop... I went forward to this driver... and spoke to him nicely.... telling him.... there was no need for him to be so upset just because I asked him about the bus.... He stopped his bus at stood up telling me.... no one ever said that to him.... and told me off... I really doesn't want to argue with him... so I told him... please drive the bus... don't stop the bus for this kind of argument.... The next station was actually my bus stop... just prior alighting... the bus driver stood up again.... telling me off... I was really pissed off by then....

I told the driver.... I'm not here to find fault with him.... I only asked him if there was something wrong with the bus for going so slow and jerking badly... and there was really no need for him to be that upset.... I told him... I'm a nurse... I'm in a serivce line too... I'm not here to pick on him... He said... Nurse so what..... My daughters are all in Universities also.... and told me off again... Goodness.... Generation gap man!!!

It was really my luck.... I really have problems communicating with him..... I told him.... He is in a service line... He shouldn't talk to him passenger in such a way.... and I told him.... I'll write in to lodge a complaint on him.... He told me... Go ahead to complain.... He got the whole bus passengers' FRIENDS to be his witnesses....

Isn't it Frustrating?? I was so tired after a long day.....and yet.... met this kind of stubborn bus driver....

Just my luck.......

Well just online to vent my frustrations...... As I said... I won't online in MSN as often.... So it's time to sleep.....!!!

I was late.... cause of the rain... and had difficulty finding a cheaper carpark lot in town area... and when I finally found one... I realised there wasn't sufficient coupons in the car..... And had to carry my umbralla and went round to buy from other cars.... Haiz...

We met at Borders first and then went Lucky Plaza to buy something.... We had our coffee at Coffee Club (Takashimaya).... Ice Mocha Vanilla.... Neriza likes that.....

After a long chat and yummy coffee.... we went to Takashimaya basement 2 and shop round the mooncake fair....

At about 6.45pm... I left for SIM and Neriza went home to have dinner with her family.... =)

The Maid and Superstar

Today went to watch 'The maid' with Agnes, Yueling, Lucy, Gary, Geri, Zila, Suraya, Lynn and Uncle Hamid...
Wow.... didn't expected everyone to be so onz.... there were 10 of us.... hahahaha...

Overall the show was quite ok.... I would rate it 6.5-7 over 10... And I didn't expected there were quite a few really scary scene...Haha.... I actually sceamed with Lucy... Hahaha.... Luckily never spilled the pop corn and nachoes....

We watched 4.40pm show at Tampines Mall.... and the show finished around 6.20pm... we faster go and snapped some group photos... and I left right after that.... rushed off for my school at 7pm... Dropped Lucy at Newton Circle... and speed to SIM... Sigh... I'm late for 1/2 hour.... luckily nothing much for the class.... quite a dry lecture for this module... Strategic Information...

Glad that the class ended 1/2 hour earlier... and I could rush home for the final part of SUPERSTAR...

OHHH... Weilian... was the Winner!!! Happy for him........ he really made it.... and proven himself... though visually handicapped... he wasn't beaten by it... I'm also happy for Kelly Poon... our future Singapore Star... =)
Actually I didn't really follow-up on SUPERSTAR.... however recently... It was quite hot... everyone was talking about it... so I supposed I have to know alittle bit as well... hahaha... follows the trend....

Went for a Swim...

Finally managed to afford some time out for a swim this afternoon, after failed to go yesterday.... was so disappointed couldn't swim yesterday....

I reached home at 4.30pm.... though a little tired.... but still insisted to go for a swim... I faster packed my school bag to get ready for night class.... and drove off to Serangoon Swimming Complex and had an enjoyable 1 hour swim.... It was relaxing....

I rushed home to have a quck shower at 6pm... had a very light dinner and speed to SIM for my night class.... Hahaha...

That's ME.... someone who always rush here, rush there.... rushing here and there for my entire life... I'm really tired someimes.... but I just couldn't change this kind of lifestyle....

Anyway I have finally planned my time-table.... With effect from 1st of September.... I'll start daily revisions for my Oct examinations....!! I really REALLY HOPE that I'll be able to follow the time-table strictly... *LoL*

Just my HOPE................ Have to give that a try........ If never try....... Confirm no HOPE.....

It has been a long time since I sit down with my family to have a proper dinner together...

Reached home before 4.30pm.... earlier than usual.... took a nap.... supposingly to go for a swim at Serangoon Swimming Complex but dad came home late to let me have his car.... so I decided not to go eventually... cause if I were to go for a swim.... I can't have dinner together with them.....

Long time never online on a 8pm... Hahaha.... chatted with some of my early birdy friends.... those who normally login earlier and sleep early one.... Nice catch up with them....

Received email reply from 1 of my doctor friend.... so nice to hear from him...

Going to start planning my study time-table for my exams... Start early... lesser stress... Cheerz~~

My projects are 90% done.... Yeah!

Today met up with my schoolmates for projects discussion.... We managed to complete 90% of our 3 projects and presentations....

That's a great relief... the earlier we can finsh up the projetcs... the earlier I can start studying for my exams....

Newly renovated Changi Airport Termintal 2 was really crowded on a Sunday.... many families with their kids... running here and here...

Met up with the guys in Mc Donald first for discussion.... however was chased off by the Mc manager.... so we bo bian... but I have to bring them to the staff canteen of terminal 2 to continue our discussion...

We stayed in staff canteen until almost 8pm.... then Gladys and Meng Chuan... my 2 pretty group members left for their appointment.... and I went dinner at Swenson with Dr Fan, Benny and Glen.... It's Dr Fan's treat... Dr Fan is 1 of my group member.... He is a PHD holder in Mathematics...currently a lecturer in NIE... Benny is my other group members... an Indonesian guy... and Glen of course... is my ex SGH colleague + goodfriend....

We had our dinner until almost 10pm... and we spent 1/2 hour to locate for Glen's car in the carpark... Haha I'm too blur.... I brought the guys to the wrong carpark.... I'm at fault... causing everyone to go home late... And lagi worse.... the parking fee was $12..... So expensive....

Luckily we have got Glen...He lo bang us back.... So nice of you Glen... Really thanks for the trouble....

Reached home and saw Jin Bao online.... 1st time met him online... chatted with him for a while... he shown me so many doggie's photos... hahaha... he and his god son.... so cute.... and I shared with him.... my doggie, Crystal's photos too....

Watched my favourite 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'!!! Yeah! my long waiting show.... It has been many months since I last caught a movie!! Really relaxing and especially watched it with my lanlan!

The story is just like the feeling of my Blog skin... It's really a fairytale... A very sweet story....

Haiz.... Supposingly to go gym after the movie.... but stomach not feeling very comfortable... so decided not to force myself... Carried a large gym bag walking along the whole Orchard Road but ended up... never gym.... Haha... Hope to have time to go for gym work out soon!

Back to Singapore 4 days already......

Back to the Stressful School days with 3 projects and presentations....

I really hope to finish my projects as early as I could so that I can fully concentrate on my examinations which will be in October.... I hate last minute study... I hope I won't be going through the same thing again this time round... Must learn to study smartly! Like Kelvin and Alvin!

Recently.... There is really lots of changes in my life... 1 of it was leaving SGH... It's really not easy to adapt to a new environment... It really needs a lot alot of time, patience and motivation....

And I realised I do feel tired easily everyday........ How?? Must learn to sleep more.... Take care of myself....

8 days in Taipei have came to the End...

8 days in Taipei passed so quickly... all my friends were surprised that I'm back to Singapore already...

My granny had finally discharged!I'm really glad that right before I returned.... she is fit for home... and she can even walk on her own... Thanks God!!!

This is really a worthwhile trip... I had spent time with granny, aunties, uncle, cousins, friend.... and even managed to do some shoppings... and bought many things (esp. shoes and clothes)...

Time to have another kind of stress back in Singapore... I have got lots of school projects piled up during this trip...

I got to struggle now..... must limit myself to MSN, IRC from now on...

How I spend my day in Taipei

Today... I met up with Felix aka Forlan in Taipei... my 6 years+ ago IRC pal...

Didn't see him for 6 years already! Almost couldn't recognise him and mistakenhim for another guy! Hahaha...

Time really flies!!

We went Xi Men Ding: La Kopi, Dan Shui: watched Sunset, Shi Lin Night Market: Shopping~ and lastly dinner at Taipei Train Station: Mc Donald , tried the new Rice Burgers....

To think that we have known each other for 6 years +++ but we only met up once...and the 2nd meet up is 6 years later in Taipei... That's really funny...

Anyway nice catching up with Felix... It's always nice and fun to meet up with my friends in Taiwan, which I always love to do so... Actually I was supposingly to meet another Taiwan friend... but he was in army and this weekend, so unfortunately he had to stay in... What a pity.... Guess both of us only can MSN to stay in touch...

8 days away from home... 3 days in Taipei already....

Weather was bad yesterday... cause we are expecting the arrival of Typhoon... but Thanks Buddha... Thanks God... Typhoon shifted to Tai Nan... no more in Taipei for now...

Spent most of my evening time everyday in Hospital accompanying my granny... she was admitted... so me and mum just stayed there to look after her... gave her moral support... Hope to speed up her recovery... sometimes feel that elderly are just like kids... all they need is more care and concern...

Too bad we stay apart.... if she is in Singapore or I work in Taipei... I can spend more time with her... and look after her... To think that I look after so many patients in Singapore and yet... I can't look after my own granny... quite sad actually... when she needs someone to look after her here... and I can't be with her... I just hope she will recover soon... be more optimistic...

Sweet MemOries with A&E...

My last round 3 nights in A&E passed so quickly... I couldn't believe my days in A&E had finally come to the end... after 4 years 8.5 months....

I have left my SGH.... left my A&E... left my doctors and fellow colleagues...and of cause all my great friends there...

Thank you for the wonderful last 3 nights...I really enjoyed myself though I was quite busy in my areas (guessed even the crowds knew I'm leaving)... But I'm still contented enough that at least we all still managed to snap many photographs... and had a mini farewell KFC feast... Thank you everyone... Thank you Xiulan and Glen for coming back A&E in the middle of the night specially for the farewell... Thank you Chinglee for your great ideas... Thank you all my night shift staffs.... You guys are great....!!

I really need time to adapt to this great changes!

I'll be going back Taiwan tomorrow to visit my grandmum and relatives... Contact you guys when I'm back ok...

It's my last Nurses' Day with SGH... with SingHealth...

Although I'm on night shift... I went down for the celebration in the day time... It's going to be my memories with SGH...

Worked morning shift today... Not in a very good mood today after work.... perhaps due to leaving my work place soon.... whenever I'm snapping photographs with my colleagues... I'll feel very very sad...

So decided to go gym... to sweat it out~~~~

I met a Secondary School Friend at gym's toilet... Never see her since 1996... almost couldn't recognise her... She changed alot... so chio~ now...

Met up with Weida, Shicong, Thomas and Marvin for dinner at Cuppage, and then the guys went for Pool... while me and Weida sat there snapping photos... As usual... I 'Zhi Pai' many photos... hee

I finally get to introduce my goodfriend, Weida to my 2 buddies Chinglee and Xiulan... I joked to the gals that next time all of them are going to be my Jie Mei... so it's better to meet up early... and get to know each others... kekeke... I also managed to introduce Shicong and Marvin to them....

We chatted until 2am at TCC... and I sent all of them home..... From Orchard to Serangoon to Bukit Panjang to Jurong West then to Bishan.... and eventually Home Sweet Home~~ for me...

Just finished my 3 days night shift... Yawnz... time to update my blog (been rather busy lately to do so)

It was a very Meaningful and Lovely 3 nights in my Department.... Managed to snapped many photos with my dear fellow colleagues... I'm very sorry that I'm leaving you guys....

You people are great people..... I'll never forget this place where I grown up from... I really learnt alot here... I'll never forget all the nice colleagues that I had fight SARS with... I'll never forget all of you, I promise... And all the wonderful experiences...

Annual N.C.H.S. Gathering...

Another gathering of mine.... it's my Nan Chiau High Gathering....

As usual.... our organiser is no one else but our Kiew Yanching.... Let's give her a loud of applause.... She is 1 of the BEST organiser... without her.... our Annual Gathering wouldn't be so successful...

Glad to meet up with everyone again... this year much better than last year.... we got to meet up more often.... 1st is Peiyun's Wedding in January... then there was 1 steamboat gathering at Peiyun's new house [but I didn't make it due to work =( ]... and finally is our Fish and Co. meet up...

It's was a very shocking evening for many of us... We have got 2 good news....

1st: Congratulations to Kravitz and Jennifer (Peiyun)...... both of you gonna be a father and mother soon....

2nd: We have found a newly attached couple in our group.... Wow..... Isn't that a great news for everyone??

Childhood Friends Gathering...

Today I'm working morning shift.... but the thoughts of meeting my childhood friends brightened my day....

Met up with the Lee Family, Zu Qin, Zu Mu and Zu Bin.... together with my brother, Chaoxian....for Kublai Khan Mongolian B.B.Q at Park Mall.

Supposingly to have Su Ping and our VIP Jin Dian who had just returned from Canada.... but 1 fall sick... while the other's flight was delayed... so couldn't make it for the 'difficult to come by' gathering....

But we guys still had a great time catching up.... gossiping on our works (as there are 3 of us from Health Care) Hahaha... lots to share.... Dr Lee C.C. , Dr Lee C.M. and SN Chua S.S.

Hopefully our next gathering won't be the coming Chinese New Year, 2006... or few years down the road... though I understand everyone of us are very occupied with our work and other commitments...

Going on Night shift again....

Yesterday, 9th July, Saturday was my dear pal, Xiulan's Birthday!

We gals (Twinz, Ann Hui and myself) met up with her to celebrate with her Birthday at Esplanade... We had dinner in an Italian Restaruant... And we saw Fire Works.... NDP rehearsal...Very nice~~ I managed to record it as video with my digital cam..... The fireworks was GREAT! There were many people along the Esplanade river...

We had coffee at One Fullerton.... waiting for 2 more friends to join us... Our Chinglee and Hope.... They didn't join us for dinner!! And we had our cake cutting session there when they arrived....

Something AMAZING happened after the coffee session...

After the coffee.... when I walked out of the restroom.... I received a sms from my net friend... asking me if I was happened to be in Esplanade? He saw me! Someone who had never met me in real life.... but yet.... he noticed me the moment I walked out of the restroom! But too bad... by the time I received his sms... I was somewhere far from him....We didn't get to meet up eventually.... Small World.... So Coincidental... and AMAZING.... To think that he saw my Friendster photos once.. and he could remember me... with his super memory!! Hahahaha... Impressed Impressed by him...

Tommorow is going to be my Night shift again....

Sian.... hate to work Nights.... though earn more allowance... but I hate to stay up to work!!! When the whole Singapore are sleeping... I'm still working....=(

Tuesday will be the beginning of JCI for SGH... It's another kind of auditing similar to ISO... JCI = Joint Comission International... Stress escalating for every staffs.... My whole SGH was busy preparing for these important days.... and Tuesday 12/07/05.. Our A&E will be the first to be audited...

I'm considered to be very lucky... to be scheduled on Night shift... HENG ah~~~~ if not.... I will be super stressed... like my colleague.... got to read up alot!

Today is my Off day.... so long doesn't have a Sunday Off... Finally!

I went East Coast Park with 2 of my Secondary School frens for cycling + roller blading in the morning... It was a very enjoyable and relaxing morning...

I reached home quite early today to have a shower and some rest... cause I just finished my Night duty yesterday and woke up early this morning...

I'll be going out again in the evening to watch 'War of the Worlds' with my #HealthChat kakis at Bugis... =)

After today... I'll be BUSY again... My school starting on 5th July... Got to go for Night classes every Tue, Thur and Fri... OH NO~~! Work and Study, Work and Study! No life again..........

Hmmmmm.... actually sometimes it's good to be busy with lots of stuffs eg. school work... it keeps one to be occupied... Isn't it better and meaningful too....

I love my job more...I love my patients... I love to see them well again...

Yesterday (Wednesday), after my morning shift... I went gym with 1 of my colleague...

After my gym... on my way to collect my car at Orchard Point... right infront of Centrepoint entrance... I saw a big crowd! I went forward to take a quick look and was surprised to see a man lying on the ground, with a few securities around him... When I tried to move closer to have a quick look if he was conscious or not... The securities stopped me and asked me to move aside...

I identified myself as a Nurse...and immediately they let me in to assess the man... I felt for his pulse immedaitely... Luckily there was pulse presence... no need CPR or mouth to mouth... He was jerking with saliva drooling over his mouth... I diagnosed him as FITS and turned him to 1 side to prevent him from choking... he was quite restless... I opened his mouth to check if he had any dentures just incase he choke himself... I checked with the securities if they had called an ambulance... and was told it would arrive soon...

The man regained his consciousness prior the arrival of the SCDF ambulance... and I saw many familiar faces' Paramedics... They were surprised to see me... I passed the case to them... That man is a Foreigner from India... (saw his passport)... He was then brought to SGH A&E (my A&E) by the ambulance...

For the entired of my Nursing life for 4 and 1/2 years...this was my first time I encountered this kind of Emergency situation during off duty... Frankly speaking I was very nervous initially... but I'm really very glad that I'm able to apply what I have learnt all these years to someone in needs... I'm really very happy... This incident really built up my confident in my Nursing career...

I love my job more...I love my patients... I love to see them well again...

It is my Off day... Yeah~~~~

Rest at home for the whole afternoon... surfing net for some oversea informations...

Finally evening arrived... met up with 1 of my goodfriend for dinner and movie in town... Dinner at my favourite Marche... we sat there for 2 hours ++... cause our show was quite late at 9.50pm... saw the long queue outside Marche... so we decided to give up our seats to the people... and we went for coffee at Cineleisure... drank my favourite Mocha... Yummy~~~So long never meet up with this friend... Really alot to catch up with him... we shared alot alot... on our current works.... so exciting... haha

We watched ''Echo''... a Horror Philippines Tagalog movie.... very scary show... Made me screamed a couple of times... It had been really a long time since I last watched a movie... Sigh... I think I have been too busy with my work and studies... (I did not even know the price of movie ticket had went up already) =(=

When I got home.... my MSN was on.... Finally met ''Ang Siew Lan'' online... my Hao Jie Mei... never chat with her for so long... eversince she went for Advanced Diploma in NYP... Miss her so much... catch up with her alot through MSN... Can't imagine we both can be so ULTRA busy... even no time for a short phone chat or coffee session... HaHa...

Chinglee, my other Jie Mei was online too... we 3 are very good friends (same group in Poly... serving the same A&E... even took our Degree together in SIM) and we finally chat together in MSN after soooo long... we 3 used to hanged out together most of the time... but because Siew Lan went for Advanced Diploma in NYP... me and Chinglee hardly get to see her... *sob*.. *sob*...

We 3 had a Conference MSN... hahaha... our Vitual catch up session... playing with MSN Animated Emoticon... hahaha...

It's 3.30am now.... and we are still chatting!!! Hahaha......

Really missed those good old days.... whereby we were studying together for exams in the middle of the night... and smsing each other.... complaining the STRESS!!!

It's 3.50am... Just woke up from bed... remember my PC was still left on by my sis... Opps...

Worked morning shift just now... after work stayed back for JCI briefing...

It's a Rainy day... Met up with my sis and my buddy for gym workout... this is the 1st time I brought my sis to California gym, she was so excited... Hee... I managed to get her a 2 weeks pass... Finally she can gym with me... we went treadmill, stepper, and some abd. weight training... and to Sauna... It's always her wish to go gym with me 1 day...

After 3 hours of workout... we went for dinner... kekeke... and walked around at Takashimaya... so long never go shopping... kind of boring to walk around without a purpose... perhaps just came back from Australia... don't have any mood to shop and to spend again...

When we got home... my sis requested to use the computer first... so I decided to go back to room to rest, however I just dropped dead onto my bed after shower... A very tiring day indeed... Slept only at 2.30am, woke up at 6am for work... after work proceeded to gym and finally got home at 10.45pm...

I woke up at 3.50am and remember my computer was still left on.. so decided to surf net for a short while... check some mails... upload photos... update blog... etc. etc.... Anyway it's my off day today... can rest as much as I could... Meet a friend in the evening only....

Finally completed uploading my photos of my Australia trip... can share it with my friends already... Yeah~~~

Another boring day.... slept at 4.30am and woke up at 12.30pm.... can't sleep any further cause got to work at 2pm...

Another busy day in A&E... Working in the busiest area Observation Ward... as usual many patients... and get scolding by patient's relatives... Haiz... What's new?? Sometimes they just couldn't undertsand our A&E work load... They could see how busy you were... and yet they can be so MEAN =~(

Reached home at 10.30pm.... bathed...and as usual... MSN and mIRC... cause my friend in Australia was waiting for me online to send me some of our photos we took in Sydney last week...

Met an old friend online at the same time.... someone who used to be so close with me... Had a long chat with him... Brought in lots of memories...

HUMAN! Why do we only learnt to treasure something when we lost it... Why???

Before I logout... I decided to login to Friendster again... and was surprised to see 3 friend's comments in my Blog... Thanks friends... It's nice to hear some comments... this increased the interest in carry on with this Blog thing... Haha...

It's 2am... Opps I'm working morning later...!! Got to wake up ay 6am and start work at 7am....

A very boring day... woke up at 12 noon... had my lunch and off to work... a very busy day in A&E... patients +++ ... reached home at almost 11pm... surf net and chatted with friends in MSN and mIRC as usual...

The time is 3.30am... still got 3 friends chatting with me on MSN... was chatting with 1 of them about Life... I was asking.... Have he ever wonder... what he wants in life.... Everyday working so hard.... work and work and work... and for both of us... have to work and study.... And did we actually ask ourselves... ''What do we want actually??''

Sometimes in life... we can't have everything... when you want to achieve some other thing.... you would have to sacrifice and lost something you have... But is this the only choice?

Perhaps this is just LIFE... Have to face the challenge... A test for oneself...
